Bruce E. Carey, 73, of Lake Wynonah, died on September 5, 2023, at Lebanon Veteran’s Hospital, Lebanon. He was born in Pottsville on September 18, 1949. He was the son of the late Mildred (Marcinik) Carey.

Career
Bruce completed his education in 1968 and graduated from Pottsville High School.
Bruce E. Carey was loyal to his responsibilities towards his country. He served in the U.S. Army for 20 years and retired in 1988. He was serving in the military, while Bruce had worked as an employee at Tamaqua Cable Products in Schuylkill Haven.
He was a responsible member of the Schuylkill Valley Corvette Club.
Bruce spent his life with his sisters, Nancy Piel, of Delaware, and Peggy, wife of Curt Parrish, of Maryland, brothers, Walter, husband of Patricia Carey, of Orwigsburg; David, husband of Debi Carey, of Maryland; James Carey, of Florida; and Buddy Noel, of New Bloomfield; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services
The memorial Celebration for Bruce E. Carey will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, on Monday, September 11th. The visitors will come from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
A visitation will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
