Louise Ann Barr, 88, of Minersville, died silently on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023, when she was with her loving family at St. Luke Hospital Bethlehem Campus.

Life And Career Of Louise Ann Barr
Louise was born in Minersville, Pa., on December 28, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Mary (Smolensky) Komokosky and Michael Komokosy.
She was the widow of Thomas W. Barr, who died in 1971.
Louise Ann Barr was a loyal member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Church of the Holy Family Parish, Minersville. She was also a member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. She worked for women and was a member of the Women’s Society. She worked as a sewer in the local garment industry to earn a living and survive.
As her parents said, Thomas, was her husband, and her death was taken place by a lovely brother, Frank Komokosky.
She has left three sons: Thomas, husband of Ann Barr, Michael, husband of Kimberly Barr; and Robert Barr. She loved her grandson, Brandon Barr, and his companions, Alyssa, and Tyler Rolek.

The funeral services for the convenience of the family are private. The Visitors may visit Saint Stanislaus Kostka #2 Cemetery. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Inc., Minersville will handle the arrangements.
