Maureen T. Gerhard Life
Her parents told her that her death was taken place by her husband of 48 years, James C. Gerhard, and her brother, Michael Abernethy.
Maureen spent her life with her two sisters named Pat Suppa and Eileen Connely.
Maureen had three children named Lizbeth Gerhard, of Orwigsburg; Kristin, wife of Scott Greenawalt, of Orwigsburg; and John C. Gerhard, of Craftsbury, VT.
She was a grandmother of five lovely grandchildren named Meghan, Sean, Daniel, William, & Reilly, who called her by love “Nan.”
Moreover, she was part of a renowned St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.
Maureen served as an employee in Rest Haven Private Hospital as a reputed nurse for 25 years.
Maureen T. Gerhard was fond of gardening and enjoyed cooking, traveling, and reading, and loved a dog named Stella too.
She had completed her graduation from Brentwood Academy High School, Brooklyn, NY, and Saint Clare’s Nursing School, Manhattan, NY.
Funeral Service
A funeral service of Maureen T. Gerhard will be arranged at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 9th at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.
The visitors for condolence will arrive at chapel place from 9:15-10:15 AM.The ceremony will be private at the family’s facility.
