Raymond Eugene Boxter, at the age of 74 Shenandoah, formerly of Lost Creek #2, died on Saturday, July 29th, 2023 at his home.
He was born at the Locust Mountain Hospital, Shenandoah Heights on February 22nd, 1949, late George and Mildred “Millie” (Pusavage) Boxter are his parents.
Early Life
He completed his graduation of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.
Along with this, Raymond Eugene Boxter worked as a retired construction worker.
He embraced Christianity and was a part of the former St. George Church, Shenandoah, and the Shenandoah Fish and Game Protective Association, Zion Grove. He had a passion for keeping cats.
Besides his parents, he passed away in death by his sister Millicent “My Honey” Boxter and three brothers, George, Joseph, and John Boxter.
Behind him there are two daughters who are spending their life, named Jacqueline and Raquel of Frackville; having two brothers, Edward A. Boxter of Frackville and Nicholas Boxter and his wife Mary of Bernardsville, NJ; nieces, nephews, cousins and several friends.
Funeral Ceremony
Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor, will officiate in a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:00 am in St. Casimir Church, 229 North Jardin Street, Shenandoah. The following is the burial in the Our Lady of Dawn Cemetery in Shenandoah Heights.
The visitors will come on Friday morning from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Saint Casimir Church.
The arrangements of his funeral will take place at the Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Memorial Home in Shenandoah at 132 South Jardin Street.
