Pearl R. Steigerwalt, at the age of 90, died on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023, at her home in West Penn Township.
Life
She was a wonderful lady, born in Tamaqua on October 13th, 1932. Late Lester was her mother, and Hattie (Daubenspeck) Malick was his father.
Pearl was a reputed member of Over comers Holiness Church, Andreas. She has worked as an employee and retired after working several years in the cafeteria at Morgan Knitting Mill in Tamaqua.
If we look into her death news, it is not surprising because she is 89 years old. Her husband Welles, who died on April 7th, 2019, her brother Robert Malick, and her three sisters Marion Neuroth, Irene Cawley, and Dorothy Gallagher preceded her in death.
After Pearl R. Steigerwalt’s death, her daughter Linda Synder and her husband Ronald, along with two sons, Robert Steigerwalt and his wife Pauline and Dennis Steigerwalt and his wife Vinnett, and four grandchildren, are surviving.

The burial ceremony of Pearl R. Steigerwalt will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023, at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, PA 18252, with Rev. Cliff Taylor officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in a memorial house with relatives as well.
