Clayton Drumheller Life

He was born on July 26th, 1928, in Shenandoah. Clayton was the son of Elmer and Margaret (Morerello) Drumheller.

At an early age, he lived in the Zion Grove and Nuremberg area. He builds strong connections within the community.

Clayton Drumheller spent his life dedicated and committed to people. He served his country as a soldier in the Army. Korean War is evidence of his strong patriotism and loyalty.

He worked as a clerk after working at Acme Markets until his well-deserved retirement.

An intelligent man who has remarkable talents and is an all-rounder. He was a genuine craftsman, using his own kiln to fire ceramics and producing exquisite works. His impressive model train collection and exhibition demonstrated how much he loved being creative.

Clayton’s also joined the United Methodist Church in Nuremberg and was a part of the Nuremberg American Legion, Post 699.

Family

His late wife is Shirley Drumheller. He left his sons after death, Dennis and Randy, both of Zion Grove. He will be deeply remembered by his grandchildren, Jamie, Samantha, and Madison, as well as his five great-grandchildren, with another one on the way.

Clayton spent his life with sisters, Doris Bennie of Arizona and Ruth Shuman of North Carolina. His death was taken place by his siblings, Betty Carter, John Drumheller, Donald Drumheller, Allen Drumheller, and Selena Bond-Brumitt.

Burial Ceremony

Friends and family can come to pay their respects during a graveside Memorial service. His death ceremony is arranged by committal with Military Honors at the Nuremberg Cemetery on Monday, August 21st, 2023, at 11 AM.
