Eileen Rowland Life
She was born on February 11, 1928, in Frackville. She was the only daughter of the late Mary (Pelosky) and Anthony Rowland. She belonged to the Catholic faith and was a loyal St. Vincent de Paul RC Church member in Girardville.
Eileen had completed graduation from St. Joseph’s High School in Girardville. She then graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Reading. She was a Nurse at Locust Mountain Hospital-Shenandoah Heights for several years, shortly after retiring.
She died in 2008, along with her sister, June Ann Rowland. She left her caregiver, Joseph J. Chiaretti (Rose), Girardville, and her beloved dog, Sadie.
Funeral Services
The Burial services of Eileen Rowland will be arranged on Tuesday, September 5th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, 260 N. 2nd St., Girardville, PA 17935. The Visitors will follow services at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Fountain Springs.
Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home Inc., 901 Centre Street, Ashland, PA 17921, has been charged with making the arrangements.
