Barbara M. Zehner, Died On 6th August 2023 At The Age Of 80

Barbara M. Zehner, at the age of 80, of New Ringgold, died on Sunday, August 6th, 2023, in her home. She was the widow of Francis E. “Peck” Zehner, who passed away on December 20th, 2021. 

She was working as an employee at Young’s Medical Equipment, Easton for about 15 years. She has worked also at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth.

Barbara M. Zehner Life

She was born in Allentown. The late Walter Holland and Catherine (Kresge) Hill were her parents. Barbara has a very sincere and loyal personality.

She always enjoyed spending time with her family and relatives as she felt happy and relaxed to be with them. She was a part of the West Penn Rod and Gun Club. 

Her death was taken place by a sister, named Brenda Welch. 

She left three sons, Thomas Ford and his wife, Virginia, of Stroudsburg, Angelo Zervos, of Tamaqua, and Pete Zervos, of New Ringgold; stepdaughter, Heather, wife of Ammon “Mike” Hartwell, of Tamaqua; two grandchildren, Samantha Edmonds and Brandon Zervos; two step-grandchildren, Kayla and Damon Hartwell; great-granddaughter, Eden Edmonds; niece, Vicki Luchini, and nephew, John Welch. 

Funeral Service

The funeral of Barbara M. Zehner visitation will be arranged from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, August 15, at Hartman Funeral Home.  Hartman Funeral Home will handle all the arrangements, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
